Susanne Dyckman lives in Albany, California. She is currently
a thesis advisor for the University of San Francisco's MFA in Writing program, and also manages grant and contract finances for a division of Children's Hospital, Oakland. Her first full-length collection, equilibrium’s form was published by Shearsman
books.
Jennifer Copley lives in Barrow.
She has had 4 collections published - Ice (Smith Doorstop), House by the Sea (Arrowhead), Unsafe Monuments
(Arrowhead), and most recently The Wells Journals (from which the poems in Shadowtrain are taken). She has been placed
in several competitions including being the national winner in the Ottakar's and Faber Poetry Competition in 2006. In
2005 she was South Cumbria Poet Laureate.
Rupert M Loydell
is editor of Stride. He is the author of several books of poetry, the most recent being An Experiment in Navigation
(Shearsman, 2008).
Nathan Thompson’s
first full-length collection of poetry, the arboretum towards the beginning, was published by Shearsman in 2008.
Charles Freeland lives in Dayton , Ohio . The recipient of a 2008 Individual Excellence Grant from
the Ohio Arts Council, he is the author of half a dozen e-books and chapbooks of poetry, including
Grubb (BlazeVOX books), Furiant, Not Polka (Moria), The Case of the
Danish King Halfdene (Mudlark), and Where We Saw Them Last (Lily Press). His website is The Fossil Record

Paul A. Green’s poetry has appeared intermittently over the years, mostly recently in Blazevox and Great Works. Recent
plays include Babalon (Travesty Theatre), a drama of rocketry and magick, and The Voice Collection (Radio
Telefis Eiran). His novel The Qliphoth is published by Libros Libertad, and he contributes audio work and articles
to www.culturecourt, which features an audio version of ‘Dump Cracking’ with soundscape by Lawrence Russell. Brother

Astrid van Baalen grew up in England
and now lives and works in Amsterdam and London. She has had work

David Grubb is the author of three novels, one autobiography and several collections of poetry
and short fiction, his most recent being the poetry collection It Comes With a Bit of Song which was published by Salt in 2007. He is also a lecturer in
creative writing and has headed up aid organisations working in places of extreme poverty and civil conflict. His collection
of poetry, The Man Who Spoke to Owls, will be published by Shearsman later in 2009.
Douglas Messerli is a poet, dramatist and critic. He is publisher and editor of Green Integer books.
